While drag races are far from being exciting and often times, they’re extremely biased, yet they’re perfect for bragging rights and killing time.
Take for example this drag race between what seems – on paper – an underpowered BMW M3 taking on one of the best supercars ever made – the Lamborghini Huracan LP580-2. But the M3 is not your “regular” E30 M3, but rather a sleeper with a massive engine hiding under its hood.
In the video below, we see a V10-powered BMW E30 M3 pitted against a Lamborghini Huracan LP580-2. The 5.0-liter V10 from BMW makes – in standard form – 500 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque, and it’s a monster when packed inside a lightweight car.
While the Huracan has 580 ponies, it still can’t match the lower weight of the E30 M3, so the end result of the drag race is actually quite predictable.
